In animal farm the animals accept Napoleans lies due to the issues.They are frightened,unintelligent and squealer persuades themwith fast talk and purasion.
Napolean scares the animals by controlling their rationa and using the dogs to keep them from speaking out.For example Napolean said whoever did not participate in the volunteer work would get their rations cut in in half.Another example of napolean frighting the animals is by having the dogs "growl"at any one who debated his ideas.
Secondly the animals also believe napolean lies because they are unitelligent .For example when the animals were given orders they "they didnt have any thoughts to go angainst what napolean was saying.Another example is whenthe pigs changed the comandments they were not aware of the changes because they couldnt read.
Thirdly squealer is able to persuade the animals to think and do whatever he wants.For example squealer persuaded the animals to think that Napolean came up with the idea to bulid the windmill.Also another example of squealer persuading the animalsis when he beging to blame snowball foe every incident.
In conclusion Napolean uses many methods to opress the animals.
